The number of people extradited to and from Azerbaijan has been announced, this information is reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers' report for 2024, APA reports.
Last year, a total of 51 individuals were extradited to the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2024, extraditions included 1 person from Colombia, 36 from Russia, 7 from Georgia, 1 from Poland, 2 from Germany, 2 from Kazakhstan, 1 from Hungary, and 1 from Belarus — totaling 51 people extradited to Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan extradited 31 individuals last year. The extraditions included 1 person to Oman, 4 to Russia, 9 to Uzbekistan, 2 to Tajikistan, 3 to Kazakhstan, 1 to Turkmenistan, 2 to Pakistan, 1 to Iran, 3 to Türkiye, 1 to Luxembourg, 1 to Romania, 1 to Georgia, 1 to Austria, and 1 to Germany — amounting to 31 people extradited from the Republic of Azerbaijan.
