Debris from a drone fell onto the airport’s runway, damaging the asphalt surface in several places.
Prosecutor’s Office employees have been dispatched to the scene, and an investigation is underway.
It should be noted that Iran carried out drone strikes on Nakhchivan earlier today.
One of the drones hit the airport terminal, while several others fell in different locations.
One drone landed near the school building in Shakarabad village.
As a result of the drone strike, the terminal building sustained serious damage, and destruction was recorded.
