Four State Service officials arrested-UPDATED

Four officials of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription have been arrested, APA reports.

Acccording to the decision of the Baku Military Court, four months of arrest warrant has been issued on Etibar Aliyev, the senior officer of the preparation department of the Garadagh district department of the institution, Shamil Aliyev, an officer of the mobilization and mobilization preparation department of the same department, Niyam Madatsoylu, deputy head of the mobilization and mobilization preparation department of the Jabrayil district department, and Araz Karimli, an officer of the Saatly district department.

According to the information, Etibar Aliyev, Shamil Aliyev, Niyam Madatsoylu and Araz Karimli were temporarily removed from their positions.

Etibar Aliyev and Shamil Aliyev were charged under Articles 311.3.1 (Bribery, by a group of persons or an organized gang in advance), 311.3.2 (Bribery, committed repeatedly) and 311.3.3 (Bribery, committed in large amounts) of the Criminal Code, Niyam Madatsoylu was charged under Article 311.3.2 (Bribery, committed repeatedly), and Araz Karimli was charged under Article 311.1 (Bribery).

According to the decision, the start of the term of imprisonment for all four persons is calculated from April 21, 2026.

Aliyev Etibar, the senior officer of the preparation department of the Garadagh district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, has been arrested, APA reports.

The decision in this regard was made by the Baku Military Court.

According to the decision, Etibar Aliyev was sentenced to 4 months of arrest warrant.

He was charged under Articles 311.3.1, 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 of the Criminal Code.
