The Ministry of Emergency Situations received information via the “112” hotlines about a fire caused by Armenia in an open area on the border with the Republic of Armenia, in the Heydarabad settlement of the Sadarak district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, this was stated in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency SituationsAPA reports. .
According to the information, the Sadarak District Fire Protection Division was immediately dispatched to the area.
As a result of operational measures carried out by the firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short period of time without spreading to a larger area.
Approximately 7 hectares of dry grass and reeds were burned in the fire. Surrounding areas were protected from the fire.
