A fire that broke out at a warehouse on Nizami Street in Baku’s Nasimi district has been fully extinguished by forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, MES Press Service told APA.
360 square meters of a 2,400-square-meter warehouse—used for storing electronics and other goods—were damaged in the fire.
Most of the warehouse was protected from the flames, and the fire was prevented from spreading to nearby buildings.

Initial information about a fire in a warehouse on Nizami Street in Baku’s Nasimi district was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' (MES) "112" hotline, APA reports citing the Ministry.
The State Fire Protection Service units were mobilized in response to the incident.
Due to the fire in one of the warehouses on Nizami Street, traffic restrictions have been imposed from Kovkab Safaraliyeva Street towards Nizami and Yusif Safarov streets. The Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Intelligent Traffic Management Center confirmed the measures.
MES immediately deployed forces from the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue Services to the scene.
Currently, efforts are ongoing to contain and extinguish the fire. Additional updates will follow.
APA’s correspondent at the scene reports that 14 fire trucks and a significant number of personnel have been dispatched.
Firefighting operations continue at the warehouse on Nizami Street. The MES Press Service stated that active interventions are being carried out along the entire perimeter, and the fire has been brought under control.
