A serious road accident has occurred in Ismayilli, APA’s Shirvan bureau reports.
The incident was recorded this morning on the Qaramaryam–Ismayilli–Shaki highway, in the territory of Topchu village of Ismayilli. A “VAZ-2115” car driven by Nicat Asgarov veered off the road and overturned. As a result, passengers in the vehicle — 19-year-old Lamiya Gurbanova and a 3-year-old child — died.
Also, 21-year-old Rahil Gurbanov, as well as a 5-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy who were in the car, were injured.
In response to APA’s inquiry, the regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Press Service stated that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact, and investigations are ongoing.
