Due to the explosion that occurred in Sumgayit, a male individual born in 1997 was hospitalized at the Sumgayit Medical Center’s Emergency Hospital on May 7 at around 22:30, TABIB said in response to APA’s inquiry.
The statement reads: “The individual who was diagnosed with first-degree thermal burns to the head, neck, and torso was provided necessary medical assistance in the Emergency Department. The patient was discharged for outpatient treatment at home upon signing a written agreement.”

An explosion occurred at a workshop in Sumgayit, APA reports.
The incident was recorded at a metal processing workshop located in the "Inshaatchilar" residential complex.
The explosion was caused by the blast of a stove. As a result of the explosion, Aghaselim Jalilov, born in 1997, was injured and hospitalized.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
