Balakan residents who lost their lives in a plane crash laid to rest in their hometowns -PHOTO-VIDEO

The bodies of the Balakan district residents who tragically lost their lives in the plane crash in Aktau have been handed over to their families.

The remains of 8 people, residents of the Balakan district, were among those who lost their lives in the accident of the "Embraer 190" aircraft carrying out the Baku-Grozny flight J2-8243 belonging to "Azerbaijan Airlines" near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25 - Mahmud Tutunchiyev, born in 2004, registered in the village of Gullar, Rashid Gistarov, born in 1968, resident of Sharif village, Ibrahim Gistarov, born in 1962, resident of Sharif village, Hamzat Gurbachov, born in 1990, resident of Khalatala village; Rana Yeznayeva, born in 1969, resident of Yeni Sharif village, Momunet Gogamova, born in 1960, a resident of Yeni Sharif village, Maleyka Angbazova, born in 1972, a resident of Musheshambul village and Yadigar Mehdiyev, born in 1988, a resident of Shambul village, Balakan district - were handed over to their families at noon today.

Farewell ceremonies were held for the victims of the plane crash and their relatives.

After the farewell ceremonies, the deceased were laid to rest in the cemeteries of their respective villages where they were born.

Note that 15 of the passengers on board the plane during the plane crash in Aktau were residents of the Balakan district. 9 of them tragically lost their lives at the scene. Among those who lost their lives, the body of 26-year-old Ramazan Filiyev, a resident of Sharif village of the district, was handed over to his family on December 27 and he was buried in the Sharif village cemetery. During the plane crash, 6 residents of Balakan district - Tofik Devrishov, born in 1959, a resident of Gullar village, Balakan district, Tofik Devrishov, born in 1986, a resident of Gullar village, Samir Devrishov, born in 1986, a resident of Gullar village, Mahammad Papakhov, born in 2005, a resident of Yeni Sharif village, Leyla Omarova, born in 1994, a resident of Mahamalar village, Vafa Shabanov, born in 1981, a resident of Hanifa village, and Hafisat Chitiyeva, born in 2004, a resident of Khalatala village, received various degrees of injuries.
