The trial in the criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS) against Bahruz Samedov, who was accused of treason, has concluded, APA reports.
Today, during a session held under the chairmanship of Judge Elnur Nuriyev at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes, a verdict was announced for the accused, Bahruz Samedov.
According to the verdict, Bahruz Samedov was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment.
Note that Bahruz Samedov was detained in August of last year during operational-investigative measures carried out by the SSS. He is accused of collaborating with the Armenian special services.
The SSS charged him under Article 274 (treason) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
