On March 29, the State Border Service's Border Troops Command prevented an attempt to smuggle narcotics across the state border from the Islamic Republic of Iran using an unmanned aerial vehicle in the operational area of the Goytepe border detachment, the Press Center of the State Border Service told APA.
As a result of military-operational measures, the small-sized aerial vehicle was neutralized, and 460 grams of narcotic substance (marijuana) were retrieved from the area.
Operational-investigative measures regarding the incident are ongoing.
