Last year, 161 human trafficking and 1 forced labor crime were recorded through operational search measures, this was reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers' report for 2024, APA reports.
According to the report, 2 criminal groups were neutralized, and 91 victims of these illegal actions were identified.
Of the victims, 56 were placed in shelters, and all necessary measures were taken to ensure their protection, provide medical and psychological support, and supply them with essential clothing.
One-time allowances were granted to 80 victims of human trafficking, 9 were provided with jobs, 18 were directed to vocational courses, and 63 were referred to aid centers.
