As a result of investigations conducted regarding the forest fire that occurred on July 16 in the mountainous area around the villages of Hochaz and Mollalar in Lachin district, it was determined that the fire had been caused by careless behavior, the Press Services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a joint information, APA reports.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated, and the individuals suspected of causing the fire have been detained by police officers and brought to criminal responsibility.
