Another body found in Tbilisi's Kura River amid ongoing search operations

Following the reduction in the water level of the Kura River in Tbilisi, another unidentified body has been discovered during ongoing search operations, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports, citing the Emergency Management Service.

It was reported that the newly found body is not related to the car accident that occurred on May 14. Rescuers also found the bodies of two passengers who had fallen into the river in the vehicle.

Note that during the search operations yesterday, rescuers discovered the body of an unidentified woman near the Ortachala Hydroelectric Station. Medical examination revealed that she was 21-year-old Aytaj Mammadova from the village of Kosali in Gardabani district.

Search efforts are ongoing for one more person who went missing as a result of the car accident.
