In April, mine clearance operations in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories resulted in the detection of 381 mines and 3,047 unexploded ordnances (UXOs), ANAMA told APA.
Operations were carried out in the regions of Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankandi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
A total of 302 anti-personnel mines, 79 anti-tank mines, and 3,047 UXOs were discovered during the demining efforts.
Overall, 6,365.7 hectares of land were cleared of mines and explosive remnants of war throughout the month.
