3 more internationally wanted people extradited to Azerbaijan

Three more individuals wanted internationally have been extradited to Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Wanted Azerbaijani citizens

In accordance with the requirements of the Convention dated 07.10.2002 "On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters," the requests of the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the extradition of Azerbaijani citizens Amal Sakhavat Ibadov, Rizvan Kamil Maharramli, and Samir Yusif Ismayilov have been granted by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

Criminal acts committed

Since there are reasonable suspicions that these individuals have committed criminal acts specified in the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions were made to charge them as accused persons, and they were placed on the international wanted list for fleeing the investigation and hiding.

Detention on the territory of the Russian Federation

The mentioned individuals were detained in the territory of the Russian Federation and brought to Azerbaijan accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
