Heavy rain causes electricity problems in Azerbaijani north-western regions

Heavy rain caused some problems in electricity supply in Azerbaijani north-western regions last night, APA’s Sheki-Zagatala bureau.
Two electricity polls were damaged as a result of water-rise in Kulmuk river in Gakh region.
Strong wind in Sheki, Zagatala and Balaken regions caused short circuit and crashes in several electricity lines. The electricity was cut off in the region at night. Restrictions in energy deliverance to Sheki, Zagatala and Balaken regions were removed at 11.00 in the morning today. Gakh executive power told the APA’s local bureau that though heavy rain caused rise in the water-level of the rivers, serious damage was not observed. The problems in electricity were restored in the first half of the day. /APA/
