Azerbaijani National Security Ministry: Version on terrorist act or explosion of the building is ruled out

authors of the article Ibrahim Bayandurlu and Rauf Mirgadirov were called to the National Security Ministry along with him regarding the version put forth in the newspaper about explosion of the building as a result of a terrorist act.
â€œThe article writes that it may be a terrorist act. They say a man filmed there several days before the building collapsed. National Security Ministry investigates whether the report is true or not. The authors of the article and me were called to the Ministry regarding this. We gave our explanations. National Security Ministry investigates possible terrorist act version. I think it is normal,â€ he said.
Elchin Shikhli also said that there is no ground to regard this fact as their detention in National Security Ministry.
Chief of the Ministryâ€™s Public Affairs Center Arif Babayev told APA that the authors of the article were called to the Ministry to clarify the reports saying that the building collapsed as a result of a terrorist act.
â€œWe got their explanations and the materials were sent to the General Prosecutorâ€™s Office. It should be noted that National Security Minister Eldar Mahmudov was also at the site the day the building collapsed. Expert group of National Security Ministry made inspections. Terrorist act or explosion of the building is ruled out. The reports about it are groundless,â€ he said.
Arif Babayev also called for media outlets not to publish and report inexact information about the accident. /APA/
