Faig Tagizade informed them about the rescue operation.
The relations of the sufferers told the deputy minister that they want to help in searching. Faig Tagizade gave instructions to Jahangir Gulamov, chief of Emergencies Ministry rescue service to involve five relations of the sufferers every hour. The deputy minister told journalists that rescue operations are carried out carefully.
“20 relations of the persons trapped under the debris appealed to the Prosecutor General. There are still are chances to rescue some of them, especially those who are in the two-story basement of the building. But it is dangerous for the rescuers to work in the basement. The building can collapse any time,” he said.
Faig Tagizade underlined that they do not need help of foreign countries in carrying out rescue efforts. “ We have all technical equipment to carry out rescue operations,” he said.
Faig Tagizade called on reporters not to exaggerate reports. “It is our and your duty to join grief of the sufferers,” he said. /APA/
