3 Azerbaijani soldiers and 2 Turks injured in border checkpoint incident

The fact is being investigated on Article 126.1(premeditated injury of health).The investigation is underway and no one was arrested.
â€œThe incident in Girmizi Korpu has to do nothing with marketâ€. Gazakh region Police Office chief Shukur Mehsiyev told APA. According to him the reason for incident was not conflict between locals and persons who attempted to privatize the trade stores. Shukur Mehdiyev said the incident occurred between soldiers and unregistered gypsy migrants when the latter attempted to trespass check point. Two soldiers of Border Troops were stabbed and were taken to Gazakh Region Central hospital.
Gazakh region Central hospitalâ€™s chief doctor Arzu Novruzov told APA three injured soldiers have been admitted to hospital. The doctor said Elmir Zakirov was operated on. According to him, the operated soldier spilled much blood but his life is not in danger. Arzu Novruzov said two other soldiers were released as their wound was not dangerous.
Interior ministryâ€™s press service made an official press-release on the incident. The Ministryâ€™s press service told APA the incident on Gazakh region â€œShikhliâ€ border check point occurred between State border serviceâ€™s soldiers and Turks at 13.30 on April 26. Turks Uzeyir Gezer and Kemal Ozdemir pulled down turnpike with their cars. During the incident, Azerbaijani soldiers Zakir Huseynov, Elmir Rustamov and Elnur Aliyev also Turkish citizens Orbay Irfan and Orbay Canan were injured. /APA/
