1,074 crimes were recorded in January 2007, State Statistical Committee told the APA. 6 of the crimes were committed by foreign citizens, 4 were committed against foreign citizens. The crimes committed last month are grave. 20 of them are connected with deliberate murder or efforts to murder, 13 with human trafficking, 2 with kidnapping.
Plundering reduced to 48%, robbery to 33%, hooliganism to 28% compared with the January of 2006. 22 of the crimes recorded last month are uncovered. 15% of the uncovered crimes were committed by a group of people, 8% by previously-sentenced, 2% by drunken men, 1% by juveniles or with their participation.
1,082 violators of law were found and 79% of them were held accountable. 88% of them were at economically active age, but did not work or study, 5% previously-sentenced, 3% drunken men, 9% women, 3% were juveniles. /APA/
