ACSN: Car with smuggled goods not found in Azerbaijanâ€™s Fikret Emirov vessel

â€œMercedes car owned by Turkish citizen with smuggled goods which was detained by Ukrainian frontier guards on February 18 hasnâ€™t been found in Azerbaijanâ€™s Fikret Emirov vesselâ€?, Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Navigation press service Chief Vugar Sadigov told APA.
The chief stated that the car had been detained in Kherson city of Ukraine.
â€œFikret Emirov flagcarrier sails in the permanent line between Turkish Zonguldag port and Ukraineâ€™s Skadovsk seaport. The line is called â€œfriendship lineâ€?. Opponents try to remove us from the line. This is a dirty game against usâ€?, he said.
According to the information of Ukraine State Frontier Service press center, Ukrainian frontier guards found a great deal of smuggled goods in a Mercedes owned by a Turkish citizen in Azerbaijanâ€™s Fikret Emirov vessel. The report says guards and customs officers have reviewed the car in Skardovsk port. Soaps, tooth pastes, deodorants as well as 1000 illegal shaving brushes costing $10.000 were found in the car. /APA/
