Representative of UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Doctor Golan Klani, officers of the US embassy in Baku, Doctors Ami Nibi and Susan Kait on February 15 visited the village Boyati in Neftchala related to the reports on bird flu virus 15, press service of the State Veterinary Service under Agriculture Ministry told the APA. They met with village executive officer, representatives of municipality, veterinary and health service and the residents.
They were told that epizootic situation is stable and there is no mass death of poultries and wild birds.
After the meetings, the representatives reviewed the village, wild birds in different ponds, poultries and were assured that there is no outbreak of bird flu in the village.
They highly appreciated the measures taken by state bodies and State Veterinary Service. /APA/
