Azer-Asia Insurance to raise nominal capital 44%

Azerbaijan-Iran Insurance Company Azer-Asia intends to increase its authorized capital 43.8% to AZN 1mln this year.
Company head Office in Baku told APA that its authorized capital grew 15% to AZN 700,729.4 as of January 1.
Premium collections went up 10.2%, year-on-year, to AZN 1,304,405 and payments in insurance rose 3.6% to AZN 488,433.21.
Azer-Asia Joint Company was established by Iran’s Asia Company (49%) and Azerbaijan’s Azersigorta State Commercial Company (51%) in 1997.
The Company provides 7 voluntary and 2 compulsory insurance services. /APA/
