“Abbas Lisani’s trial will be again held in Tebriz Court on February 21. He is accused of organizing rally to Bazz tower,� one of the leaders of the movement for the rights of Iranian Azerbaijanis Abbas Lisani’s wife Rugeyya Lisani told the APA exclusively.
She said that though they have appealed to jail officials for several times, they have not created appropriate conditions for Lisani’s treatment. Saying that pressures on Abbas Lisani continue, she noted that she has met with her husband today.
“We could come to agreement with officials of the jail to create conditions for Lisani to have meals cooked at home. The appeals send by international organizations to Iran government did not result positive. His release is not the issue to be discussed,� she said. /APA/
