“It is not easy to give official status to Khojali genocide and make the world recognize this genocide. Even I think that we should not tire ourselves in this sphere. I do not see any prospects in recognition of Khojali genocide,� chief of the State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov told the APA. The committee chief said that to inform the world society about Armenians’ savagery and tragedy is another side of the issue.
“Though the world recognizes Khojali events as tragedy, but is not ready to recognize it as genocide yet,� he underlined.
He said it is not right to take every foreign guest visiting Azerbaijan to Khojali monument. Ibrahimov noted that this year the anniversary of the genocide will he held in several countries of the world. /APA/
