Lenkeran water wells expose to danger

The water wells in the yards of Lenkeran multi-storeyed buildings and private houses expose to danger, APAâ€™s south bureau reports. These houses will cause weakening of the foundations of those houses. Lenkeran Executive Board official, head archeologist of the city Jahid Hasanov said that the only way out of the problem is to construct water line. Hasanov said that the construction of water line and sewerage system of the city has been reflected in â€œSocio-Economic Development of the regionsâ€? state program. The chief of Lenkeran water-canal department Maharram Mammadov told the APAâ€™s south bureau that 15,5km-water line is expected to be constructed from Khanbulanchay reservoir. He said that 3km of the line have been already constructed. Two big 2 000cu m-water tank will be constructed till the end of this year in the frame of the project. Up to now the department serves to 15-20% of the city citizens. /APA/
