NTRC chairman Nushirevan Meherremli: I wish participants to be more in next contest

â€œCreators of ANS had participated in the preparatory meeting of National Television and Radio Council in connection with the results of tender launched for the ANS TV and ANS CM frequency. The members of the council told the creators to base on the requirements of the council. But ANS creators asked to reconsider the issue and to cancel the tender. We reconsidered the issue today during the meeting. The law says that at least 3 persons should participate in the tender. Thatâ€™s why we abolished the results of the tenderâ€?, NTRC chairman Nushirevan Meherremli told APA.
He said that the other reason why there were no participants is the restoration of ANS broadcast.
â€œAll the participants of the contest should have equal rights. We took presidentâ€™s advice into consideration and let ANS resume broadcast. I want to believe that there will be more participants in the next contestâ€?, he said. /APA/
