Guba offices of National Security Ministry and Interior Ministry confiscated a great deal of weapons in the house of resident of Azerbaijani region Guba Geybulla Mammadov, APA’s north bureau reports.
Mammadov was arrested for beating his brother about a month ago. Later as a result of investigations the police found 1 submachine gun, 2 magazines, 2 F-1 hand grenades, a lot of cartridges and other weapons in Mammadov’s house.
Religious literature and audio and video cassettes on Wahhabism were also confiscated in Mammadov’s house.
He is supposed to train in Dagestan and Chechnya, fight in Pankis gorge in Georgia, and participate in the events happened in Azerbaijani region Zagatala in 2001.
Criminal case was launched on the fact in Guba Prosecutor’s Office. /APA/
