Bird flu virus has been found in the Turkish region Batman, APA’s Turkey bureau reports.
Agriculture Ministry of the country sent the samples from the poultries died in the village Bogazkoy of Batman for test. The analysis confirmed bird flu virus.
Quarantine was imposed in 10km area around Bogazkoy.
Poultries in the villages Bogazkoy, Ruzgarli and Aydinli are being killed.
Blood samples from 4 children caught flu in Bogazkoy were sent to Ankara. The children are under control.
Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry banned import of fowls from Turkey from today. /APA/
