Azerbaijan Publishing House increases printing prices by 25% and rental payment by 50%

She said the publishing house has increased the prices because the prices for energy deliveries have been raised. The deputy director said the price for printing material is not included in the printing expenditures.
â€œThe publishing house does not sell material for printing. 90% of our clients buy papers themselves,â€? she said.
Ismayilova said that the material used for printing, chemical substances are included in the printing expenditures.
â€œRental payment means expenditures of public utilities. The prices for public utilities increased by 50%,â€? she said.
Ismayilova considers that the newspapers will appreciate the rise of prices.
â€œWe were obliged to increase the prices. We do not intend to make a profit of it. We will again investigate how the increase of prices influenced on the activity of the publishing house,â€? she said.
Deputy Director noted that there are over 120 newspapers in the publishing house. She added that the rent rooms have cost AZN1,80 up to now. /APA/
