Executive bodies of southern regions on alert because of severe weather

Severe weather being observed in the southern regions since January 28 Lerik and Yardimli caused a number problems, APA southern bureau reports. Strong wind paralyzed energy network of Yardimli, about 20 schools were damaged, the roof of the carpet shop knocked down. The natural disaster damaged individual farms. Deputy Head of Yardimli Executive Power, chairman of the emergencies commission Etibar Farrukhov told the APA southern bureau that all executive bodies of the region, offices and organizations are trying to restore normal living conditions in the region and remove the damage. Brigade of Azerenerji Open Joint Stock Company has already been sent to the region. Though it is snowing, all the necessary measures are taken to supply 60 settlements with electricity.
All necessary measures are also taken in Lenkeran to prevent the results of the severe weather. Lenkeran Executive Power told the APA southern bureau that emergencies commission held a meeting yesterday. The head of Lenkeran Executive Power Suleyman Mikayiov told chiefs of the offices, organizations to be on alert, to clear the roads from the snow and prevent interruptions in gas and electricity supply. /APA/
