Baku – APA. The Houston Court has upheld its decision on the case of Azerbaijani citizen Sevinj Tagiyeva, who was arrested under the charges of illegal microchip export from the US (by “Arc Electronicsâ€) to Russia, APA reports quoting “RIA Novostiâ€, Judge Jorge Hanks said the possibility that Tagiyeva may avoid trial is very high, as her family, her son, mother and brother live in Baku and the working visa issued by “Arc Electronics†lost its validity due to the seizure of the company’s assets.
Tagiyeva left for US in 2009 by student visa. She is studying at Texas University. On October 3, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) declared that 8 out of 11 suspected people, including Sevinj Tagiyeva were arrested under the charges of illegally exporting high-techs from the US to Russia.
