He said that they were invited because of the article “Europe and We� published in the last issue of the newspaper. Usubov said a criminal case will be launched against the newspaper in Investigation Department of Grievous Crimes Department.
“Azerbaijan is a country of freedom of speech and there is no need to generate public excitement. When the article was published I was not in the office. Besides, the newspaper is not responsible for the views of authors,� the editor said.
Sedagetoglu said the newspaper will apologize for the article in the next issue. /APA/
