Editor-in-chiefs go on hunger strike

â€œAzadliq editor-in-chief Ganimat Zahidov told APA that Yeni Musavat writer Mustafa Hajibayli and Yeni Zaman editor-in-chief Shakir Habiloglu have been succeeded by Yeni Musavat editor Azar Aykhan and Milli Yol editor-in-chief Shahin Aghabayli in the strike.
Turan new agency editor-in-chief Mehman Aliyev, Ganun magazine editor-in-chief Shahbaz Khuduoghlu and 24 Saat (Hours) editor-in-chief Fikrat Faramazoghlu also continues to go on the strike.
Ganimat Zahid expressed his dissatisfaction with the position of the international corps, organizations and foreign embassies.
â€œCE co-rapporteur Andres Herkel took a stance on the process and we are pleased with his attitude. We think the Government should seek solution to the problem,â€? he said. /APA/
