APA reports quoting the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations that the plane with 46 rescuers, rescue equipment and daily necessaries will be sent at 11.00 today.
Under the instructions of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent two planes to Van.
7.2-magnitude quake hit Van city on October 23. Earthquake shocks were felt in Diyarbakir, Batman, Sirnak, Mus, Erzurum, Bitlis, Bingol, Siirt and Mardin. Destructions and casualties are reported.
According to the Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the quake was felt in Sederek, Sherur, Babek regions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan Republic, as well as in Nakhchivan city at 2.5 magnitudes.
According to official reports, 217 were killed, over 1000 injured in Van earthquake.
