Baku-APA. About 27,000 polling stations across the country would be open for voting in this month’s Kyrgyzstan presidential election, Central Election Commission (CEC) chairman Tuigunaly Abdraimov said Friday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"The CEC is finalizing preparations ahead of the elections, and it is possible to say today that the district, territorial commissions and the CEC are ready for the voting," Abdraimov said at a parliamentary session.

"All of the funds needed for the elections are available, which allows us to sort out financial and technical issues," he said.

Kyrgyzstan’s 2.8 million eligible voters go to the polls on Oct. 30.
