Criminal case launched on officials of two big construction companies in Azerbaijan

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Criminal case has been launched against the officials of Birlik-Inshaat LLC and Kamran B.E. LLC, press service of Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office told APA. Prosecuting authorities are taking continuous measures to prevent the abuse of power by officials.

The investigation carried out basing on the appeal of Kamran B.E. LLC shareholders found out that officials of the company Alakbar Babayev, German Huseynov, Suleyman Aliyev and Rufat Nagiyev sold 90 flats in the multistory building, which was constructed at the cost of the funds of the shareholders, in Bunyadzadeh street, 34 b, Yasamal district, Baku, to 250 persons.

Criminal case has been launched on articles 178.3.2 (swindling) and 308.2 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Case.

The investigation found out basing on the appeal of Guilchohra Musayeva found out that founder and chairman of Birlik-Inshaat LLC Elman Tagiyev together with other officials of the company sold one and the same flat in Rahib Mammadov street, 20, Khatai district, Baku, to several citizens.

Criminal case has been launched on the fact on articles 178.3.2 and 308.2 of the Criminal Code.

Department to Combat Corruption under Prosecutor General is carrying out investigation.
