The ministry received information about the finding UXO in the territory of SOCAR’s gas and oil production department in Sabayil district of Baku. Rescuers were sent to the site to take necessary measures and relevant organizations were informed about the incident. The ministry’s experts identified three ordnances as D-44 shells without warhead. Additionally one D-30 and three more D-44 shells were found there.
The unexploded ordnances were found near the poultry farm in Mehdiabad district of Absheron too. The experts of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found an anti-tank training mine. No suspicious thing was identified in nearby areas. The unexploded ordnances were handed over to the relevant organizations.
