It happened on April 4. Azizaga Rahman Tagiyev, 56, knifed his brother Alovsat Tagiyev, 43, on family dispute. Alovsat Tagiyev died on the spot. Azizaga Tagiyev escaped.
As a result of the operations carried out by Absheron police, Alovsat Tagiyev has been detained.
The prosecutor’s office also said Azizaga Tagiyev had been wanted for 15 years. In 1995, he shot at his brother, but as the wound was slight he survived. Since then he had been wanted under article on attempt to kill.
Azizaga Tagiyev is reportedly a mafia boss.
Absheron prosecutor’s office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
