Torrential rains cause several problems in north region of Azerbaijan

There was an unstable weather in the north-west region of the republic on April 2. Torrential rains have continued since 03.00 oâ€™clock this night.

Torrential rains and hail have caused several problems in Balaken, Zagatala and Gakh regions, Balaken Region Executive Power told APA. Sharif village has suffered more. That is, 5 hectares wheat field, 2 hectares clover field has become worthless and 70 hothouses suffered serious damages.

Level of water in mountain rivers has risen as a result of torrential rains. According to Zagatala Region Executive Power it caused several problems in Gozbarakh and Chobankol villages of the region. 15 hectares wheat field has become worthless, 20 houses were flooded, 20 hectares hazel garden suffered serious damages in Gozbarakh village.

Electron automat phone stations have suffered damages in several villages of Zagatala region as a result of thunder. More than 100 phone numbers have stopped as a result of thunder at EAPS in Ashaghi Tala village.

Administrative departments of Gakh Ingiloy, Lakid and Gakh city posts #1 have suffered serious damages as a result of torrential rains.

Executive structures of above mentioned regions told APA that torrential rains would influence on harvest too.
