Ministry of National Security detains the members of the organized group planning the terror acts in Azerbaijani capital

Azerbaijani citizens Nuriyev Samir Dadash, Mugumov Rafael Ibrahim, Gurbanov Yashar Spartak, Namazova Roza Muzaffar, Namazova Khaver Hamza, Panahova Bella Muzaffar, Russian citizens Gayrbiyev Elbert Elmirzayevich have been unveiled and detained thanks to the investigation and search operations conducted by Ministry of National Security. For the purpose of delivering and unleashing the terror in Azerbaijan, the members of the organized group planned to smuggle from Georgia through Azerbaijani customs station in a quantity illegal guns, gang to the guns, ammunition, explosive substances, and blasting assembly.

As Public Relations Department of MNS informs APA, the members of the organized group planned to smuggle from Georgia into Azerbaijan in a quantity the guns, gang to the guns, ammunition, explosive substances, and blasting assembly on November, 2009. Head of the organized grouping Agil Namazov, who is supposed to be outside Azerbaijan, delivered via someone Jamal, whose identity is currently established, in a quantity illegal guns, gang to the guns, ammunition, explosive substances, and blasting assembly to near Guluzambina village of Balaken district on January 6, 2010.

Agil Namazov entrusted other member of the band Rafael Mugumova to receive and keep all ammunition and explosive substances. Instead of this service Agil Namazov promised to pay Rafael Mugumov 500 US dollars fee, in turn the last received his offer.

Rafael Mugumov met someone Jamal in the place, which they arrange beforehand, received from him ammunition, explosive substances, and 500 US dollars fee, and then concealed the ammunition and explosive substances in his own home in Garakli village of Balaken district. Late on, Agil Namazov entrusted Rafael Mugumov to deliver the ammunition and explosive substances via passenger bus to Samir Nuriyev, who lives in Keshle settlement of Baku city.
Samir Nuriyev took the ammunition and explosive substances, by Agil Namazovâ€™s instructions, to his aunt Rosa Namazovaâ€™s apartment and handed over the ammunition and explosive substances to her. Not long after, Agil Namazov together with his mother-in-law Bella Namazova and brother-in-law Ismayil Panahov drove to Rosa Namazovaâ€™s apartment and took the parcel with ammunition and explosive substances back. Ismayil Panahov together with his mother Bella Panahova concealed the guns, ammunition and explosive substances on the roof of the kindergarten of Khatai district, where Bella Panahova works.

Later on, Bella Panahova bewared of concealing the guns, ammunition and explosive substances on the roof of the kindergarten and took the parcel from there and convey it to Agil Namazovâ€™s mother Khaver Namazov. At the outset, Khaver Namazova concealed the parcel with ammunition and explosive substances in the garden of her home located in Nabek Avenue of the Khatai district. But then, Khaver Namazova concealed the parcel under the stone rock located near the secondary school yard, where she works as a teacher of biology.

The members of the band kept on their activity and planned to use the same way for smuggling in a quantity the guns, ammunition and explosive substances from Georgia into Azerbaijan. So, on January 15, 2010, the head of the band Agil Namazov once again delivered via someone Jamal, in a quantity illegal guns, ammunition and explosive substances to near Guluzambina village of Balaken district. Agil Namazov entrusted Rafael Mugumov to receive the guns, ammunition and explosive substances and dispatch them to Yashar Gurbanov. Rafael Mugumov met someone Jamal in the place, which they arrange beforehand, received from him 200 US dollars fee, ammunition, explosive substances, and then concealed the parcel in his own home in Garakli village. Later, Yashar Gurbanov, by Agil Namazovâ€™s instruction, drove on â€œMercedesâ€ to Garakli village and took the parcel with ammunition and explosive substances back from Rafael Mugumov, concealed the parcel in the baggage of the car and left for Baku. He left at himself one part of the parcel and the rest of the parcel he handed over to Elbert Gayrbiyev - the chairman of Chechen Invalidsâ€™ Society â€œSalaamâ€ located in Baku, Narimoanov district, 4 Tchaikovsky street, apartment 19.

Thanks to the investigation and search operations conducted by the Ministry of National Security On March 16, 2010, the members of the organized group were detained. During the searching operations in the apartment of Rosa Namazova, who lives in Narimoanov district of Baku city, 40 Reservoir street, apartment 3B, one â€œMacarovâ€ pistol and one cartridge clip to the Macarov pistol was unveiled and confiscated.

Khaver Namazova â€“ one CZ-75 â€œChampionâ€ pistol, 616 bullets of different calibers both for â€œChampionâ€ and other pistols, seven cartridge clips, one â€œGSMâ€, one portable satellite terminal and 10 fuse capsule-detonators meant for military electro-detonator were unveiled under the stone rock located near the secondary school yard of Khatai district.

Yashar Gurbanov â€“ Nasimi district of Baku city, 4th micro-district, 58/75 Mir Jalal street. 150 bullets of 7.62x25 mm caliber, one pneumatic pistol cartridge clip and vacuum clutches, cold steel, and 6 gr. of heroin.

Office of the Chechen Invalidsâ€™ Society â€œSalaamâ€, headed by Elbert Gayrbiyev â€“ 24 trotyl cartridges, each of the trotyl cartridge weights 400 gr. â€“ altogether 10 kg., 950 electro-detonator, 1 â€œMacarovâ€ pistol, 1 â€œViking MP 446â€ pistol, 39 bullets, 6 cartridge clips, 2 â€œIC-R20â€ walkie-talkie, scanning receiver, and 6 gr. of heroin.

Rafael Mugumovâ€™s home in Garakli village of Balaken district â€“ one â€œStechkinâ€ pistol and 210 bullets for this pistol, 1 silencer, 5 cartridge clips, 1 â€œBerett 92â€ pistol and one cartridge clip for this pistol, 107 bullets, 1 â€œErme Werkeâ€ gas pistol made in Germany and 30 bullets for this pistol, 2 hunting knives, and 0.442 gr. of heroin.

National Security Ministry Main Department Combating Crimes has launched criminal case under Articles 206.4 (Smuggling committed by the organized group), 228.3 and 228.4. (the acts committed by organized group, illegal purchase, selling or carrying of gas weapon, cold steel, including throwing weapon, except for districts where carrying of a cold steel is an accessory of a national suit or connected to hunting), 234.4 (illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances. Samir Nuriyev, Rafael Mugumov, Yashar Gurbanov, Rosa Namazova, Khaver Namazova, Ismayil Panahov, Bella Panahova, Elbert Gayrbiyev held accountable.

During the investigation accused Rafael Mugumov testified that Agil Namazov, with whom he had been friends over the last two years, had repeatedly said to him that he intends to unleash jihad and blast concourse sites. For carrying out terror acts, he made some preparations. All investigated facts reveal that the accused persons included in the list the most vulnerable objects, for these purposes they concealed so much ammunition and explosive substances on the roof of the kindergarten and near the yard of the secondary school. In turn, it unveils the fact that the organized group, which had intentions to carry out mass destruction slaughter, didnâ€™t care that their victims could be children and even babies.

The investigation and search operations, for the purposes of revealing the other members of the organized group, are under way.
