Baku - APA. Baku city resident was detained for human trafficking. Press service of the Interior Ministry told APA that Baku resident Leyla Akbarzadeh was arrested as a result of the operations carried out by Interior Ministry’s Department to Combat Human Trafficking. She is accused of taking women to United Arab Emirates for sexual exploitation. Criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigations are being taken.
Shamkir region resident Mehbare Khalilova was detained as a result of another operation carried out by Interior Ministry’s Department to Combat Human Trafficking. Khalilova is accused of taking women to Turkey for sexual exploitation. Criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
