APA’s correspondent reports that the jet crashed 3km far from Ashagi Ayibli village of Tovuz. According to the local residents, no blast was heard. Military forces have been involved.
Azerbaijani Air Forces’ jet Su-25 crashed during the planned exercise flight in Shamkir region of Azerbaijan at about 17.00 on March 3. Pilot Famil Elman Mammadli was killed during the jet crash. Joint commission of the Defense Ministry and Military Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the crash.
