The incident happened in the testing ground near the farm in Chayli village last night. Guba residents Asef Shahverdiyev, 45, and his son Esbala Shahverdiyev, 11, found an explosive device in the testing ground while grazing cattle. Suddenly the device blasted, in the aftermath of it father and son died.
The investigation group of Absheron prosecutor’s office determined that the explosive device was antitank mine detonator. Servicemen trained in the testing ground two days before the incident.
Prosecutor’s office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation and carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies, explosives) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
