Armed attack on businessmanâ€™s house in Azerbaijan

The incident happened in Ashig Ali street, 5 last night. Unidentified persons burst into the flat on the seventh floor of the multistory building, bound the eyes, hands, mouths of the owner of the house Chimnaz Asadova and driver of the family Anar Azizov. They tortured Asadova, threatened her with weapon and demanded money. The woman was obliged to give all the money and jewelries to them. They seized the money and jewelries and escaped.

An investigation group was set up as soon the police received the information. The police are taking measures to find the offenders.

The police also said the owner of the house is a businessman.

Narimanov district police office has launched criminal case on the fact on article 181.2.1 (burglary committed by a group of persons), 181.2.3 (burglary with illegal penetration into dwelling, premise, warehouse, or other storehouse) and 181.2.4 (burglary with causing damage to the victim in significant size) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
