Police receive information about bomb in oil field in Azerbaijan’s capital

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Police office received information that a bomb had been planted in the oil field in Baku.
Surakhany district police office told APA that an unidentified person called “102†service of Interior Ministry and said a bomb had been planted in the third oil field. The Ministry of Emergency Situations was immediately informed about the call and rescuers were sent to the site. No explosive was found.
The police determined the address of the anonymous call. It was resident of Terter region Agil Mirzayev.
Criminal case has been launched on the fact on Article 216 (deliberately giving false information about terrorism) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
