In the aftermath of the accident, the driver of Opel-Astra died on the spot, the driver of Hyundai Tucson was injured. He was hospitalized. The drivers of both cars are policemen.
The police are carrying out investigation on the site.
Baku Main Police Office informed APA about the details of the accident.
Opel-Astra owned by Abdullayev Aliaga Aslan, the officer of the Security Department of Azerneftyag, collided with Hyundai Tucson owned by police captain Agababayev Nazim Arif, the employee of the Interior Ministry’s Staff Department, because of the tire blowout of Abdullayev’s car.
In the aftermath of the accident Abdullayev died on the spot, Agababayev was hospitalized.
The fact is being investigated.
