Civil Defense Forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the extinguishing of fire, APA reports quoting the ministry’s official website.
800 ha territory with dry shrubbery in 30-40 km of the administrative centers of the regions and owned by local municipality reportedly burned down. Nearly 100 troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and four firefighting vehicles, as well as civil defense forces were sent to the site. The firefighters extinguished the fire preventing its extension to the nearby forest.
