Police dismissal in Sumgayit

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Chiefs of Traffic Police Office and Registration and Identity Card desk of Police Office of Sumgayit City were dismissed for shortcomings they committed in their offices, law-enforcement bodies told APA.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs found out serious shortcomings in the Traffic Police Office of Sumgayit. Traffic police chief Ahmadaga Mammadov was dismissed by the order of Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov.

As a result of inspections, chief of the Registration and Identity Card Desk of Police Office Bakhtiyar Aslanov was also dismissed. Sumgayit police office told APA that both resigned from their offices.

Recently Sumgayitâ€™s police chief Mehdi Humbatov and his assistant for operational affairs Shirinali Veliyev were removed from the offices by the ministerial order.

Humbatov was appointed to Kurdamir region. Deputy police chief of Narimanov district of Baku Akbar ismayilov was appointed to Sumgayit.
