Ogtay Asadov: â€œAzerbaijan will face more pressure due to the Olympics to be held in Azerbaijan next yearâ€

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The issue on threats of calls for revolution in Azerbaijan has been raised at today’s meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament, APA reports.

MP Zahid Oruj touched on spying scandal related to the list recently disseminated by media: “Some people from other countries are spying on Azerbaijan. It shouldn’t be regarded as discreditable war of media, it should and will attract the attention of law enforcement bodies. It paves the way for foreign countries to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan and put pressure on it. They are going to make revolution, riots in Azerbaijan at the expense of foreign capitals. But it will never take place.”

Speaker Ogtay Asadov said that today it is not difficult to observe calls for revolution and riots in Azerbaijan, challengers and those responding them: “The U.S. Embassy had a female employee aka Miledi in Azerbaijan, who was only making challenges against the government. Azerbaijan will face more pressure due to Olympics to be held in Azerbaijan in 2015. Therefore, we should be sensitive and careful.”
